  • Lamar CISD

With a curriculum that teaches the three Cs — creativity, communication, and collaboration — as well as the three Rs, Lamar CISD focuses on preparing children to become life-long learners. Well-equipped campuses provide students with the tools to succeed in a world dominated by technology, while smaller enrollments provide more opportunities for students to assume leadership roles and participate in campus activities including award-winning athletic and arts programs.

  • Huggins Elementary

Huggins Hounds are hungry for success, helped along by highly accomplished teachers and a nurturing staff. Classrooms are equipped with Smartboards and the strong academic curriculum is supplemented by art and music classes. Community involvement is key, and a very active PTO — Friends of Huggins — hosts fundraisers and events.

  • James W. Roberts Middle School

Opened in 2016, the school is a state-of-the-art campus offering access to the latest technology, as well as a strong academic program that includes honors and pre-AP classes. Smartboards are in every classroom and students have access to five computer labs, five laptop carts and three iPad carts.
